Meet the members of our band

Enea Maina

*2004, guitars

He developed a passion for the electric guitar at the age of 6. He took private lessons until the age of 15, saving up the money needed for his first professional guitars, and joined the line-up of the heavy metal band Hell Riders, with whom he made his stage debut at Padiglione 14 in Turin on 8 November 2019.

In the summer of 2020, Enea began writing riffs and lyrics and laying the foundations for his project: NIM. Towards the end of 2020, Enea left the band and devoted himself exclusively to his musical project, beginning the search for other musicians. Around the same time, he began studying acoustic guitar at a music school.

From the summer of 2024, he embarked on several side projects involving acoustic and experimental metal, using both 7- and 8-string guitars.

As well as continuing his compositional work, since 2025 Enea has undertaken training in songwriting and has embarked on a personal course of study into quantum physics and the properties of sound.

Arianna Bellinaso

*1992, vocals

Arianna began her musical journey at the age of 9 in the Renaissance and Baroque Choir of the “Salvatore Licitra” Municipal School of Music in Cinisello Balsamo. She later went on to study opera singing, the transverse flute, and crossover vocal styles blending opera, musical theater, and jazz.

After studying at the “Guido Cantelli” Conservatory in Novara and the “Claudio Abbado” Institute of Advanced Musical Training in Milan, she took part in numerous choral and concert activities, performing on stage with the Cameristi della Scala and in other productions. In 2023, she made her debut as the lead in the musical production of “The Phantom of the Opera” at the Teatro Sociale in Soresina and subsequently as a soloist in Henry Purcell’s “Dido & Aeneas.”

Since 2021, she has been the lead vocalist for the folk metal band Aexylium, and in 2025 she joined Noise in Myself, bringing her experience in both opera and metal to the new lineup.

Yuri Bordonali

*2004, bass guitar

Yuri began playing the bass in 2018 after various experiences as a multi-instrumentalist in the classical field (piano, saxophone and choral singing). After two years of studying with bass player Andrea Castelli he decided to continue as a self-taught musician following his move away to study, and shifted his style towards extreme metal, adding growling and screaming to his repertoire.

In 2023 he joined the original line-up of the Thrash/Death metal band Ecastor from Maresso, with whom he gained live experience by performing on numerous stages across the underground scene of northern Italy, alongside various collaborations as a session musician. In 2025 he accepted the offer to join NIM after having shared the stage occasionally with Enea.

Omar Mariani

*1979, drums

Self-taught, he began playing the drums at the age of 14, initially influenced by blues and funk. In 1998, he founded the punk band Devilskins, with whom he took his first steps in the live and recording scene.

In 2003, he was one of the founding members of Those Furious Flames, a band with whom he recorded five albums and performed over 500 concerts across Europe, the United States and Russia. Over the years, he has shared the stage with international artists including Faith No More, Papa Roach, Misfits, Ska-P, Vista Chino, Turbonegro, Salmo, Udo Lindenberg and many others. The band also performed at legendary venues such as Whisky a Go Go, the Viper Room, the O2 Academy, the Ballroom and Sub89.

Following the band’s break-up during the pandemic, he shifted his musical focus towards more progressive and experimental sounds. His main influences include Gavin Harrison, Danny Carey, Chad Smith and Jay Postones.

At the end of 2025 he joined the line-up of Noise in Myself.
